Neteller Launches Cryptocurrency Exchange Service

Neteller, a renowned digital fiat currency wallet provider, has launched its cryptocurrency exchange service. The users of the wallet can now buy, sell, and/or hold 5 cryptocurrencies – Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Litecoin (LTC).

This cryptocurrency exchange service is now available in 10 countries. Reports say Neteller has planned to roll out this crypto exchange service to over 50 additional markets.

Announcement on Cryptocurrency Exchange Service

Paysafe Group Ltd. wholly owns Paysafe Financial Services Ltd., the entity that operates Neteller wallet service. Paysafe Group announced recently about the launch of its in-wallet buy-and-sell cryptocurrency feature.

The group has announced that the users of the wallet Neteller can use “any one of 28 fiat currencies available in the Neteller wallet” for buying, holding, and selling cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum Classic “via a recognised cryptocurrency exchange”.

Official website reportedly mentions that they will “add more currencies in the near future”. The statement went on to say that without the requirement of any additional verification, the Neteller users can exchange from over 100 methods of payment into crypto currency.

Reports say the most popular fiat currencies that are currently supported by Neteller include –

  • Us Dollars
  • Euros
  • Australian Dollars
  • Japanese Yen
  • British Pounds
  • Canadian Dollars
  • Indian Rupees
  • Russian Rubles
  • Colombian Pesos
  • Swiss Francs
  • Mexican Pesos, and many more

Neteller Funding Methods and More Details on New Cryptocurrency Exchange Service

Reports say there are multiple funding methods for an account. Per the information on the official website, the available funding methods are –

  1. Bitcoin
  2. Local bank deposits
  3. Paysafecard
  4. Epay
  5. Pay by Mobile

Online banking can also be reportedly used for uploading funds. Some of those banking services can be availed through –

  • Nordea
  • Itau
  • HSBC
  • Banco do Brasil

The firm claims that in “comparison to the average market rates on the major cryptocurrency exchanges” they offer very competitive rates.

Paysafe Group has also announced that they are all set to roll out their new cryptocurrency service to the Neteller users to over 50 additional countries. Reports say this will be done “over the coming weeks and months”. In fact, this cryptocurrency service will also be extended to the Neteller mobile app.

The firm has clarified that the minimum buy or sale amount of the cryptocurrency is “approximately equal to 10 EUR”. It went on to say that the maximum transaction limit varies from one account to the other. The maximum transaction limit depends upon the transaction limits vis-à-vis every account.

Fee for buying and selling cryptocurrencies for wallets through USD or EUR default currencies is 1.5%. However, the fee will become 3% for buying and selling cryptocurrencies for wallets when other default currencies are used.
