Opera browser has announced that its users in the Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway) can use the Android version of the browser for buying cryptocurrencies.
Opera Crypto Wallet for Scandinavian Countries
Currently, the built-in crypto wallet of Opera browser supports Ether, ERC20 tokens, and Ethereum network’s non-fungible tokens. Bitcoin (BTC) can’t be added to the token. However, Opera has entered into a partnership with a Swedish crypto brokerage firm Safello, which is specialized in handling Bitcoin (BTC). In fact, after the partnership, Opera crypto wallet has also added a new feature called instant-buy, which is believed to open up the wallet’s support for BTC.

Safello has a dedicated, strong line-up of investor-backing including Roger Ver, Erik Voorhees, Digital Currency Group, and others. The strongest point in favor of Safello is that it helps users purchase Bitcoin (BTC) easily from websites of its partners.
Basic Information about Opera Crypto Wallet
The Opera Android users don’t need to create an exchange account for buying cryptocurrencies and place them in their wallet. In fact, the users don’t even have to go through the onerous ID verification process too. Opera has said while launching this crypto wallet service that the entire process requires less than a minute’s time. While the Danish users are required to have NemID, the Norwegian/Swedish users need to have BankID.
Is there any Charge Associated with Use of the Opera Crypto Wallet?
Yes, the lightning speed of use as well as access comes at a certain price. Once the early-bird discounts are over, the price can go up to 7% of the transaction price (the transaction fees is extra). However, currently, it is pegged at 2.5% for Swedish users and 5% for Danish and Norwegian users.
